Clear Creek, as seen from the bridge in the park in Buffalo.
In the Spring, the snow melting in the mountains causes the creek waters to rise and occasionally there is some mild flooding in areas of town. The creek runs across the town from west to east.
This is the first exit off of Highway 90 to get to Buffalo, Wyoming as you are heading west.
This is the view of Buffalo about 30 miles east of town. Here you are situated in the grasslands where sagebrush is abundant. The Bighorn Mountains can be seen for many miles away. Here I am facing west.
The park lies just west of the downtown area of Buffalo.
Here you can see the downtown buildings. There are only two streetlights in Buffalo.

This is a view of the town of Buffalo facing the northwest. The lake is southeast of town. The red gravel is scoria (cinder rock).
